I am an artist! My skills include photography, visual design, and stage presence.

I have a BA in Interpersonal Communications, with a minor in Theater. I chose to study communications because I thought the skills and knowledge would be valuable no matter where life takes me; and I learned exactly the sorts of things I had wanted. My studies have informed what I already suspected: changing language is how we change the world. By naming things we can discuss them, and give handle to injustice.

I live in language. I become engrossed in the details and nuances, and I learn through reading. I just learned the word “sibilance” today, and I like things which name themselves. It’s only tragic for those with a lisp.
